Is there any downtime with the ematrix treatment?
There is minimal downtime with a maximum expected downtime of 4 to 5 days. Most patients can quickly resume their normal activities immediately post treatment and makeup can be applied the next day.
How Does Ematrix Sublative Work?
The ergonomic Sublative™ applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a 64 tip matrix of electrodes in the disposable applicator tip.
This fractional delivery of RF energy causes micro-epidermal ablative injuries to the surface of skin and then a wider spread dermal injury.
The injury leads to a healing process which then transitions to a smoother, rejuvenated appearance of the skin.
Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discoloration are reduced, and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic.
What Areas Can be Treated?
Full face treatments or focused areas on the face such as under-eye laxity, wrinkles around the mouth, forehead wrinkles or acne scarring on cheeks can be treated.
Can any skin color be treated with Ematrix?
Treatments are proven effective for all skin types.
When can I expect to see results?
You may notice tone and texture improvements fairly quickly as a result of increased levels of beneficial collagen and new healthy skin cells which are produced. With the treatment’s dermal impact, mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced and continue to improve over a 90 day period.
How many treatments are recommended for Ematrix?
Typically 3 – 5 treatments, 4 – 6 weeks apart are recommended. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient at the start of the treatment.
Is the Sublative™ treatment painful?
During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation. After treatment a pink or “sunburn” appearance and feeling is common. Most often a topical anesthetic is used to reduce discomfort during treatment.
This is a “Must Have” Treatment for the 35+ age group to be Pro-Active against wrinkles!
